Who We Are
Welcome to FFAD, where faith inspires action and service. We are a Christian-founded organisation dedicated to transforming lives across East Africa through inclusive development initiatives, humanitarian support, and community empowerment. While our work is guided by Christian values, our services are open to all people regardless of religion, ethnicity, gender, or social background. Together with our partners, donors, volunteers, and communities, we strive to build a future characterised by dignity, unity, peace, and hope for everyone.
Executive Director: John Kongi
John Kongi is the Executive Director of Faithful Fellowship Agency for Development (FFAD) and a Bishop committed to advancing inclusive ministry, sustainable development, and community transformation across East Africa. Guided by a servant leadership philosophy, he oversees FFAD's spiritual, humanitarian, and development programmes, ensuring that support and opportunities reach people of all backgrounds, cultures, and faith traditions.
His leadership is characterised by humility, integrity, adaptability, and a steadfast commitment to human dignity and social cohesion. In addition to his role as Executive Director, he serves as Head of Christian Ministry, providing strategic leadership for outreach, discipleship, and pastoral care initiatives. Passionate about fostering unity and collaboration, John works to build bridges between diverse communities, creating environments where individuals and families can experience welcome, healing, empowerment, and lasting transformation.
Livelihood Support To Vulnerable Households
We support vulnerable households to attain food security and sustainable livelihoods through agricultural skills development, provision of quality farm inputs, and financial literacy training. Our interventions empower communities to increase productivity, improve incomes, and build resilience against poverty and food insecurity.
Peace Building And Reconciliation
We are committed to promoting sustainable peace, reconciliation, and social cohesion within communities affected by conflict and division. Through dialogue, mediation, and community engagement initiatives, we bring together individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds to foster mutual understanding, trust, and respect.
Our peacebuilding programmes focus on addressing the root causes of conflict, strengthening relationships among community members, and creating inclusive platforms for constructive discussion. By empowering local leaders, youth, women, and other stakeholders, we support community-led solutions that encourage peaceful coexistence, healing, and long-term stability.
Through reconciliation processes, we help restore broken relationships, promote forgiveness, and build a shared vision for a peaceful and prosperous future for all.
